Wait What?! No!!! Wait!!

Does this look like a kid on his way to pre-school? Today it happened.. He is enrolled to start pre-school this Sept. Time goes so fast. My youngest is entering the school world and there is no way to stop it from happening. I must say that I wrestled with the idea of "accidentally" forgetting to enroll him in school but after all it isn't about me, I guess. Zion loves his new school and can't wait to start. He already is talking about his teachers and he only visited today. I felt so at peace there and I know he will have a great time there. You may be asking.... what will Erin do with all this free time? Well, if you are asking that, you have obviously not spent enough time with me. Somehow between the other two and Harold and volleyball I'm sure I will fill my time. I just won't have someone in tow. I look forward to Zion starting school but at the same time September is still 4 1/2 months away... I could still pull out I guess. No.. in all seriousness I will miss my little buddy being around all the time but hey at least I don't have a kid graduating High School yet. Lord, Help me!!! I;ll keep you all posted.

SpongeBob Birthday!!

Zion is offically 3.. I think he has been waiting since Dec. 26 for this day to come. Every morning we hear the question... My SpongeBob Birthday? I can't believe how quickly he has grown, and how old I feel. It was nice to have all the kids home for Zion's big day. They love to play together.
Zion is our out-going musician of the family.. and he is definitley his fathers son. Always a joke or a story on the tip of his tongue. So.. Happy Birthday to my baby..

San Fransisco

San Fran is a strange place but yet you can't help but like it there. We took our two older kids to a mini mission trip to help out some of our church missonaries thereat a International House for students. We had a great time and I love how the High School kids accept our children. We had a geat but frightening dinner in Chinatown. My children were so brave... rice was a favorite!! We also spent a day in the warf.. It was nice to spend a weekend with our children and have no intruptions. I love being a mother of older children... I love my Zion but things are starting to change in our house and I like it. We will probably take trips to San Fran more often, after all... Harold has family there..

Our Newest Family Member

I have always wanted a bulldog but was never fortunate enough to own one, until now!! Harold, my wonderful husband, bought my a 10 week old American Bulldog. She is the best dog. I love her so much already. Diesel our little dog is not so sure what to think. We named her Lucy and I take her everywhere. The kids have fun with her and I get to do the potty duty.... You know the puppy stuff. She is adjusting well to her new family and it will be fun to see her grow (to 100 pounds!!)

Its Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas

It's definitley Christmas time at our house. The kids are beside themselves with excitment. Our is always crazy this time of year. Christmas programs, parties, gift exchanges, etc. Tomorrow there is no school... therefore the end of the business!! So... Merry Christmas to all of you!! We hope to see you all soon!!

Love, Harold, Erin

My Nephews

I'm sure that every aunt in the world thinks that they have the most beautiful nephews, but I am here to assure them that they do not! I have them. We proudly welcomed Cooper Trey to our family this week and he is just as beautiful as the other boys. I'm sad to know that I will not see him as often as I did with the other boys. I feel like I will miss out on a lot of things... like walking and talking.. but luckily my brother keeps my in the loop.
Aiden Cole is a sweet little baby. I hear he likes to sing... I love his eyes.. they remind me of his daddy. I can't believe that he is going to be 2 years old already. I miss seeing the squished up face he makes. I don't know much about Aiden only because he moved when he was so young but I love all the pictures and stories I hear.
Then there is Mr. Eliot Blue. I know him the most. I was luck to have spent alot of time with him... He is the life of the party. When he is with Trinity... there is no stopping them. He always has us laughing, especially his phone conversations with my kids.I can't wait to see him again.
So if seeing these pictures of my nephews don't convince you that mine are the cutest... I think we may have a problem.

Freshman Volleyball

God gave me the opportunity to coach Freshmen Volleyball at Placer High School this year and I could not have asked for a better experience. I was nervous going into it but quickly felt like I fit there. Everyone was so welcoming to me as the "new one". I started the season excited but cautious, not knowing anything about athletics in this school. We came together quickly as a team winning all of our pre-season games. As season started we worked hard and became the team that "doesn't get soft". We went undeafeated in league also and took the title as Freshman League Champions! Place has never held a title for volleyball in the history of the school. It was very exciting. We won our Granite Bay tournament beating out the toughest teams in the area. I look back at this season as the best I have seen so far. I know I was meant to be there and this is what God has called me to do. I love those girls and they did a great job! Now it's off to coach Club Momentum Volleyball... that will be a whole different story I'm sure... stay tuned.

Halloween 2006

I can't believe that Halloween already come and is gone now. The holidays are right around the corner. This year Noah decided to be Davy Jones. This of course was not as easy to find as you may think... but it finally came together.

Trinity of course had to come up with something totally random so when she saw a picture of a sumo wrestler she absolutely knew what to be. So my sweet little princess was sumo wrestler this year.

Then Zion... he's still getting to know this weird holiday but gladly decided to settle on Woody or " hoo ha" as he is affectionally called around our house. He just wasn't big on wearing the hat.. it was too small for the LaPera head. Oh well what can you do.
So a late Happy Halloweeen to you all... From the LaPera house.
